Project Details
Working in partnership with Amalgamated Property Group and Construction Control, Benmax is currently on site delivering the mechanical services for the $196 million Civic Quarter Tower 2 (CQ2) project located in Canberra’s CBD.
Adjacent to the award wining CQ1 building, this facility offers 40,000 sqm in nett lettable space across 11 levels of A grade commercial office accommodation. It encompasses state of the art technology and the highest in environmental credentials including a NABERS energy rating target in excess of 5 stars, as well as Green Star and Wellness initiatives. Built around a central atrium and incorporating open architecture design principles, its sustainability features include rooftop solar panels, water retention systems and high efficiency fixtures.
The building is scheduled for completion in mid-2022 with the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment already securing a long-term tenancy for the building.
