Project Details

The 9,000 sqm development located in Canberra CBD comprises six office levels, a roof plantroom level and three basement carpark levels. Awarded the mechanical services contract for the building, Benmax also completed an integrated fit out for long term government tenants, AUSAID.

The first building in the Canberra CBD to be awarded a Green Star certification, it comprises of passive chilled beams linked with a high and low temperature chilled water system and a 100% outside air system to provide cooling. Energy efficient condensing boilers and heat recovery systems have been utilised to offset the potential energy penalties of heating 100% outside air in Canberra winters. An extensive building management and control system forms part of the HVAC system. completed in 2007 Benmax continues to hold the service contract for the building today.
