The Brindabella Central Energy Plant was constructed at the Canberra Airport site to supply chilled water, heating hot water and cooling water to attached buildings.
Awarded the mechanical services contract for the project by Construction Control, Benmax completed installation of the central plant that has a cooling capacity of 5500kWR and a heating capacity of 4800kW from the natural gas fired boilers. This plant supplies heating chilled and condenser water to four surrounding multi storey buildings comprising office accommodation, meeting spaces and retail facilities.
