Mick Polsen
1952 – 2022
Last Friday, the Benmax family lost one of our greatest, Mr Mick Polsen.
A founding partner and long-time director, Mick was a highly regarded and respected member of the mechanical services industry for over 40 years and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Known for his passion and commitment, Mick played an instrumental role in driving the development of the business in the early years and in setting the high standards for craftsmanship, reliability and collaboration for which Benmax is now known.
A career that extended across the ACT, NSW and parts of New Zealand, saw Mick deliver countless projects and earn a reputation for his technical expertise, ability to work under pressure and no nonsense attitude. He was considered a voice of experience within the business and broader industry and was always willing to share his time, knowledge and advice with those around him.
On a personal level, he was a caring individual that always took the time to talk to everyone, to know their story, and to make sure he was there for you if you ever needed him. He loved a good yarn, always had an opinion, and challenged those around him to be the best they could be. He had a significant impact on so many in the Benmax family and we are so proud and thankful for having had the opportunity to know and work with him. We will miss him dearly.

Mick will be laid to rest at a private family burial.
