Congratulations to Kane Constructions and the Australian War Memorial (AWM) for securing two major awards at the 2025 ACT Master Builders Excellence Awards.

The AWM New Southern Entrance & Main Building project, which is part of a historic eight-year $550 million redevelopment, was honoured with the prestigious ACT Project of the Year award, as well as the Commercial Construction $50 million to $100 million award category.

The landmark project was no small feat. It involved complex works across the new main entrance, extensive structural and civil works for the heritage-listed Main Building, and the comprehensive reshaping of the Parade Ground. These accomplishments truly highlight the dedication and expertise that went into every aspect of the project.

Benmax is proud to have partnered with Kane Constructions on the delivery of the mechanical services for the New Main Southern Entry and the upgrades to the Main Building.
