Firmus Technologies has signed an agreement to acquire Benmax Projects, Benmax Design and Benmax Fabrication. Completion is expected between the end of August and the end of September 2026, subject to customary conditions.

Benmax, established in 1986, designs, manufactures and services advanced cooling and modular systems, and has partnered with Firmus on the delivery of AI infrastructure in Australia and Asia since 2020. The acquisition expands Benmax’s scope and delivery capability for that programme.

Benmax’s commercial building services business in Canberra and Newcastle will continue under the Benmax name and will be established as a separate business within twelve months of completion. Benmax Service, Amos Air and Hydro Industries are retained under their existing ownership and leadership and continue to operate as they do today.
