Castle Towers Shopping Centre - Stage 3A

Located in West Sydney, the Castle Towers Shopping Centre is undergoing a major transformation that when complete will see it become Australia’s second largest shopping precinct.
With an estimated 18 million visitors per year, work is being delivered in stages to minimise the disruption to tenants and patrons and Benmax is pleased to be a partner on this large multistage development project.
Working alongside Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) and Construction Control, Benmax has delivered numerous projects at the site over recent years including several stages of enabling works, various tenancy and amenities upgrades, refurbishment and expansion of retail spaces, and upgrade works in The Piazza alfresco dining and entertainment precinct.
Most recently, the Benmax team delivered the Stage 3A package of works. This project included the refurbishment of 7,000 sqm of existing retail space, as well as the development of a further 4,700 sqm of new retail space. Working across the centre while occupied and operational, the Benmax team completed 52 mixed tenancies in total with the first section of works officially opened to the public in late 2019. Further phases of work were successfully handed over to the client in late 2020.

Partnering with Construction Control, Benmax delivered the HVAC mechanical services for Stage 3A project works at the Castle Towers precinct including 7,000 sqm of refurbishment works and a 4,700 sqm expansion to its retail space.
