Truck Driver / Storeperson

As our Truck Driver / Storeperson, you’ll support the Fabrication Division by transporting materials to construction sites and assisting with materials handling and workshop tasks by always working safely, efficiently, and professionally.
About the role:
This is a hands‑on role supporting our Fabrication team through safe transport, stores and workshop support. You’ll work closely with the Operations & Logistics Manager and other stakeholders to keep materials moving and work on track.
You can expect to:
- Safely operate the company truck transporting materials/equipment between the workshop and construction sites
- Load and unload goods using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment
- Assist with receiving, handling and storing goods in the workshop
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and stock movements
- Keep work areas, storage zones and equipment clean, safe and ready for use
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and correctly
- Liaise professionally with site employees, subcontractors, suppliers, other project participants and clients
- Provide relevant information for inclusion in the Daily Site Diary and complete required records/documentation
- Support safety and compliance by reporting hazards, near misses, incidents and assisting to make areas safe
What you’ll bring:
Essential
- Valid Australian HR or MR Truck Licence
- Forklift High Risk Work Licence
- Demonstrated experience in truck driving and storeperson/materials handling duties
- Strong understanding of safe loading, lifting and transport practices
- Ability to read and interpret delivery documentation and stock records
Desirable
- Dogman Licence
- White card, silica awareness, asbestos awareness and manual handling
