Truck Driver / Storeperson

As our Truck Driver / Storeperson, you’ll support the Fabrication Division by transporting materials to construction sites and assisting with materials handling and workshop tasks by always working safely, efficiently, and professionally.

About the role:

This is a hands‑on role supporting our Fabrication team through safe transport, stores and workshop support. You’ll work closely with the Operations & Logistics Manager and other stakeholders to keep materials moving and work on track.

You can expect to:

• Safely operate the company truck transporting materials/equipment between the workshop and construction sites
• Load and unload goods using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment
• Assist with receiving, handling and storing goods in the workshop
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and stock movements
• Keep work areas, storage zones and equipment clean, safe and ready for use
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and correctly
• Liaise professionally with site employees, subcontractors, suppliers, other project participants and clients
• Provide relevant information for inclusion in the Daily Site Diary and complete required records/documentation
• Support safety and compliance by reporting hazards, near misses, incidents and assisting to make areas safe

What you’ll bring:

Essential

• Valid Australian HR or MR Truck Licence
• Forklift High Risk Work Licence
• Demonstrated experience in truck driving and storeperson/materials handling duties
• Strong understanding of safe loading, lifting and transport practices
• Ability to read and interpret delivery documentation and stock records

Desirable

• Dogman Licence
• White card, silica awareness, asbestos awareness and manual handling
