Quality Advisor

About the role

Reporting to the Head of HSEQ & Compliance, you’ll provide quality assurance support across all Benmax sites, with a focus on internal auditing, document control and technical writing. You’ll also help bring our manufacturing QA process into the HSEQ system and support the business through external certification and client audits.

Your day to day will include:

• Plan and run internal audits in line with our audit program, report findings and follow up corrective actions through to close out
• Manage document control for our Integrated Management System (IMS), including version control, approvals and archiving of procedures, forms and records
• Write and update procedures, work instructions and forms in plain, practical language that office, site and manufacturing teams can use
• Record and track non-conformances and corrective actions, and work with owners to close them out on time
• Help integrate manufacturing QA with the HSEQ system and support the ongoing review and implementation of the IMS
• Gather evidence and records for external certification and client audits
• Prepare quality reports on audit results, non-conformance trends and corrective action status
• Help staff understand and use IMS documents and processes

About you

You have a solid working knowledge of ISO 9001 and understand how an integrated management system runs in practice. You write clearly, you’re careful with detail, and you build good working relationships with people at all levels of the business.

To be considered, you’ll need:

• Minimum three years’ experience in a quality or HSEQ role, including internal auditing
• Experience with document control in an ISO certified management system
• Internal auditor training in ISO 9001 or integrated management systems
• A current driver’s licence, as you’ll be visiting our sites

Desirable:

• Tertiary qualification in quality, engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in a manufacturing, construction or engineering environment
