Learning & Development Specialist

We’re looking for a L&D Specialist to join our team in a hands-on, varied role. You’ll work alongside the P&C Manager and leaders, managing training and development activities and supporting people projects that make a real difference. If you’re proactive, organised, and passionate about building skills and capability, we’d like to hear from you.

About the role:

You’ll play a key part in shaping our team and culture through effective learning strategies. No two days are the same, but you can expect to:

  1. Coordinate and deliver training sessions, keeping skills and compliance up to date
  2. Develop and maintain learning resources and programs
  3. Support people projects that improve the employee experience
  4. Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and deliver practical solutions

What you’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Education, or related field (essential)
  • Experience in L&D or a HR/People & Culture role
  • Strong knowledge of Australian workplace law and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Experience with HR systems and learning platforms
  • Experience with L&D in a trade environment (desirable)
  • Permanent working rights in Australia
