As an Assembly Technician with Benmax, you’ll help assemble quality components in our new facility, working safely, efficiently and collaboratively. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem solving and being part of a supportive team, this is your chance to contribute to something big.
About the role:
You will carry out assembly tasks on the line to meet production schedules, technical specifications and quality standards. You’ll work closely with the Assembly Manager and your team to keep production flowing smoothly, maintain safety and continually improve processes.
You can expect to:
- Assemble components accurately to meet quality standards
- Coordinate workflow and allocate tasks at your station
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment correctly
- Keep records and assist with reporting
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience in assembly or manufacturing environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong awareness of safety, quality and efficient work practices
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Certificate III in Process Manufacturing, Engineering (Fabrication), or Plumbing (desirable)
- White Card, Silica Awareness, and Asbestos Awareness (desirable)
- Permanent working rights in Australia
