As we continue to invest in innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement, Benmax is now recruiting for a newly established AI Specialist within our Corporate Services Division.
This role will be instrumental in leading the rollout, adoption and optimisation of AI tools and processes across the business. You’ll help teams work smarter, enhance operational performance, and support the delivery of Benmax’s strategic objectives as we evolve and grow.
About the role:
You bring together strategic thinking, strong governance capability and confident stakeholder engagement with a deep understanding of artificial intelligence, data and emerging technologies. You can translate organisational priorities into practical, ethical and scalable AI initiatives, working closely with teams across the business to deliver meaningful outcomes.
As a trusted advisor, you partner with leaders and operational teams to identify where AI can enhance processes, improve decision‑making and unlock new efficiencies. You bridge the gap between business needs and technology, helping stakeholders understand what’s possible and guiding the responsible adoption of AI solutions.
You can expect to:
- Develop and implement an AI adoption roadmap aligned with business needs
- Identify opportunities for AI driven efficiencies and automation
- Design, build and maintain AI agents, workflows and dashboards
- Deliver training and support to build confidence and capability in AI tools
- Ensure strong governance, data quality, privacy, security and auditability
- Act as the central point of contact for AI related queries and improvements
What you’ll bring:
Essential
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, Business, or another discipline relevant to the role.
- Strong experience in AI implementation, business process improvement, or technology‑driven solutions
- Solid understanding of AI technologies, tools, and practical business applications
- Ability to analyse processes and translate business needs into effective AI solutions
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to train and support stakeholders
- Permanent working rights in Australia
Desirable
- Certification in AI or machine learning
