Project Details
Located in the heart of the Canberra Business District, the Novotel is a 4.5 star 286 room hotel offering centrally located close to Canberra’s retail, entertainment and business district.
Awarded the mechanical services contract for a major extension and refurbishment project, Benmax completed the required work while the building remained occupied. Project works included:
- the addition of two new levels of guest rooms (level six and seven)
- extension of the basement carpark
- upgrade of the water cooled chilled water plant
- refurbishment of the ground level lobby, reception and lounge areas
- refurbishment of the level one bar/lounge, restaurant and private dining room
demolition of the roof (level six) plantroom
