Project Details
Mechanical services are critical in maintaining the reliable, fast and efficient performance of computer server equipment. To create the right environment, the Centrelink Data Centre was fitted with a comprehensive HVAC system that delivers constant, ideal air conditions. With the implementation of N+1 redundancy, the data centre contains a constant, cool environment that is conducive to our client’s mission critical servers and operations.
To provide optimum conditions for server operation and to minimise the potential downtime due to server failure, the HVAC system provides appropriate airflow, temperature and humidity control. Redundancy features within the system provide additional protection for the agency’s critical operations. Benmax successfully completed the project in 2008 and has since completed numerous other data centre projects across government, commercial, education and private sectors.
