Project Details
The flagship building located at 10 Richmond Avenue is set in the grounds of the former defence base and is part of the award-winning Fairbairn Office Park. Engaged by Construction Control to deliver the mechanical services for the 7,543 sqm A grade commercial office building, Benmax completed works on the new construction project in 2008 supporting its achievement of a 4.5 Star NABERS rating.
Since that time, the Benmax team have provided ongoing maintenance services for the building and completed several upgrade projects to meet the changing needs of the owner and new tenants transitioning into the building.
Recent projects completed at the site have included upgrade works with Defence Force Recruiting for equipment serving the existing ground floor office space and Level 2 floor to accommodate layout changes for executive offices, speciliased work zones, meeting rooms and 150-person conference facility.
Further work included partnering with Affinity Constructions to complete a fit-out of floors three and four in accordance with precise parameters for an incoming tenant. Works included demolishing existing base building services and reconfiguring, along with condenser water pipework, refrigeration pipework, ductwork, BMS electrical and controls.
