What did you get up to in the past three weeks?

ACT Government Temporary Hospital

Just three weeks ago, the team from Benmax started on-site to deliver the HVAC mechanical services for the temporary emergency department being constructed alongside The Canberra Hospital in Garran. The COVID-19 Surge Centre will support the ACT Government in their response to the pandemic situation and is a self-sufficient 1,700 sqm facility that includes resuscitation bays, acute non-admitted treatment bays and short-stay overnight beds.

Delivering this project in just four weeks was always going to be a challenge but one we were looking forward to. Working big hours and with the support of a committed team of suppliers, we have pulled together to deliver our portion of the project works in approximately one month, from design to commissioning. An outstanding result and one we are very proud of.
