Benmax partners with Hindmarsh on ANU Research School of Physics and Engineering
Benmax is pleased to be partnering with Hindmarsh Construction on the new Research School of Physics and Engineering (RSPE) at the Australian National University.
The RSPE is the leading institution in Australia for physics research and its applications. Its portfolio covers the entire spectrum from fundamental to applied research through to pre-commercial development, and includes strategic activities at the interface with biology, chemistry, advanced materials, energy research and more. The existing building infrastructure is ageing and the ANU has committed to renewing its facilities.
An exhaustive and detailed business case, four-stage master plan, and design exercise for the precinct which informs development for the foreseeable future has been completed. While design work on the complex laboratory facility continues, Stage 1A works have commenced with the demolition of the existing site underway at Mills Road, Acton.
The experience of the Benmax team in completing numerous laboratory projects (in both Australia and New Zealand) will be invaluable in the construction of this purpose designed state of the art facility.
We look forward to sharing more on the project soon.
