Located in the Canberra CBD, the National Convention Centre is the largest, purpose built conference and event venue in the ACT catering for conferences, events, trade shows and exhibitions. The facility completed a refurbishment of its mechanical services in 2006.

Awarded the contract for the mechanical works, the project included an upgrade to the heating, cooling and ventilation services to the Royal Theatre, Main Foyer, Exhibition Hall, Ballroom, Gallery Rooms and Sutherland, Menzies and Bradman Theatres.

Undertaken in an occupied and functioning building, the project required a staged approach to works with accuracy in programming and planning critical to ensuring the operations of the building were not restricted during the project.
