The landmark Canberra Centre expansion (Section 84 A & B) and refurbishment (Section 56) brings the most contemporary and innovative retail and leisure centre to the ACT. 
Located in the centre of Canberra, the project allowed the creation of both commercial and entertainment precincts complemented by car parking and retail infrastructure.

Benmax was awarded the contract for the delivery of the mechanical services which included 100 new specialty stores, including major fitouts of Big W and Dick Smith, and new car parking facilities that enhance the existing centre. The expansion increased the centres size by 33,000m³ bringing the centres GLA to a formidable 90,000m². New basement and naturally ventilated above ground carparks added 1500 spaces.
